Constant Pressure
This is the new system on the market that is comparable to city
water. The object of this system is to speed up or slow down the pumps
RPM to maintain a set pressure. This system requires a small tank to
ensure the pipes don’t shake, but allowing the use so a large pump. The
most common one is the Grunfos system that has a little box mounted on
the wall, also common is the FPS which shown here. The performance is
excellent and due to set up is very efficient with energy, although not
energy star rated. Most issues are the same as a submersible pump
system, however one difference is the drive which after a storm or power
surge it may trip. To reset this system turn the power off for 5
minutes then turn on. If that does not work all you can do is call.
